It is amazing how things that seem so commonplace now, used to appear impossible years ago. Every person has experienced this, and I am no exception.
I was born in a tiny village in the province of Rajasthan, India. My hometown is in the middle of nowhere. So when a local astrologer saw me and told me I would one day be famous and live abroad, my parents were very surprised. I was only three or four years old back then, but in my culture it is common practice to take children to Learned Astrolgers (much like it is common practice to take kids to the pediatrician in Europe).
Ten years later, at age 14, I met with Sitaram Ji – the personal astrologer for my grand mother. He looked at my horoscope, and then looked up at me, back down, and back up at me again. Finally, he said: “I see amazing potential in your birth chart. You are destined to develop this potential and you will help a lot of people and become famous.” While hearing this was pleasant, I didn’t really believe the astrologer. At the age of 14, I was generally skeptical about most things that weren’t related to acupressure or Vastu – skills I had learned from my father. For about a month, my grandmother insisted that the astrologer teaches me this science. Learning astrology was very smooth for me as if I already knew this art but was just brushing up my knowledge. I observed what the astrologer did with great curiosity. After all, if fate had given me this opportunity, why not take advantage of it? This is how I first learned about astrology and mastered the basics of this art.
When I was 21 years old, I moved to a big city. I was in the jewelry business and led a fairly reclusive lifestyle – I wasn’t close to anybody at the time. I almost forgot about Astrology and those childhood predictions but my destiny was taking full control of my life and I was totally unaware and oblivious about it. Miraculously, one day, a man appeared in my office. He looked around, then looked at me and, without asking me any questions, told me my entire life story in less than three minutes. He told me things that even I didn’t know – things he could not have found out from somebody else. How did he know so much about me? I was so spell bound, taken aback and got so confused that the only thing I could do was deny everything. But the man didn’t let me. “You’re lying!” the man exclaimed, slamming his hand on the table. Arguing with him was pointless because he was telling the truth and my heart knew it.
His name was Anil Jha. He used to be a journalist, but developed an acute drinking problem that almost killed him. Anil was picked up by monks in the forest where he came to die. This was Indian hospitality in action: the monks not only cured the dying man, but also taught him the art of Vedic astrology. Anil Jha shared this knowledge with me, which included secrets for reading the planets Rahu and Ketu. From that day on, we spent most of our time together. We used to spend 15 hours a day studying natal charts in my office. In this time, we made about 2,000 predictions together and I finally grew to believe the power of Jyotish. Four years later, Anil died. The talent that enabled my friend to transfer people’s misfortunes on to himself took years off his life.
A few years later, I ended up in the city of Pune. I was meditating at the Osho Ashram and one evening, as I was on my out, I ran into a man. “The eyes of Buddha,” the man said to me, but I did not learn the meaning of his words until much later. Back then, I did not speak Russian. The man I met, who was an entrepreneur from Tyumen, did not speak English. This language barrier didn’t stop us from growing into a very deep connection. Over the course of the next four years, we did everything together – meditated, ate and fulfilled the obligations assigned to the Ashram’s visitors. Afterward, I decided to move to Russia and practice the art of Jyotish(Indian Astrology)here.
I have been living in Moscow since 2008. In this time, I have helped over 7,000 clients achieve harmony and balance. Many of my clients have become my friends. Recently, I also met a wonderful woman here who agreed to be my wife. The things that I didn’t think were possible when I was 4, the things that seemed strange when I was 14 and amazing at 19, have now at the age of 31, become my happy reality. The very things I didn’t believe then were coming to pass and the destiny of my life is finally taking its shape and now I understand the theory of a blueprint hiding in a seed. In the blueprint its already written in the seed, before it goes down in the soil, whether it will be a guava tree or a mango tree. How tall it will grow and how much fruit it will bear, whether the outside conditions are favorable. So knowing to sow the seed in the right environment is very important. Astrology helps us to know this blueprint that we are born with. People who find their true calling and realize their potential grow to become something in their lives.
